MARSHALL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AWARDED MANAGEMENT CONTRACT BID FOR LICENSE OFFICE

The Missouri Office of Administration (O.A.), along with the Department of Revenue, has announced they have awarded a management contract bid for an area license office on Wednesday, October 11.

According to a news release, a contract bid was awarded to the Marshall Chamber of Commerce to conduct management duties for the license office at 120 North Lafayette Avenue.

Reportedly, during Fiscal-Year 2016, more than 39,000 transactions were completed at the Marshall office that generated approximately $130,200 in agent processing fees.

The Missouri Department of Revenue reportedly oversees 177 license offices, which are operated by independent agents.

All license office contracts in Missouri are awarded through a competitive bid process, where individuals and groups had to submit their bids by August 3, 2017, for the Marshall office.
