SALISBURY SCHOOL BOARD DISCUSSES IMPROVEMENTS NEEDED TO DISTRICT FACILITIES

During the meeting of the Salisbury R-4 School Board meeting this week, Superintendent Troy Clawson said an update was given on a schedule for possible improvements to the district’s facilities.

Clawson said the district has some older buildings but has done a good job with some new construction. He said now attention needs to turn to the older buildings in the district.

Clawson said the district is going to have a pre-project engineering study by a company to determine scope and cost of the work that needs to be done.

In other news, Clawson said the district received a good 2015-16 audit report and approved a snow-removal bid from the same company that has performed the work for the past several years.
