A Johnson County resident was injured in a traffic accident at a gas station in Pettis County on Tuesday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as the driver, 30-year-old Jercy Tekkei, of Warrensburg, reportedly was attempting to exit the vehicle at a gas pump, where it began to travel backwards and rolled over the driver.
Tekkei reportedly was transported by E.M.S to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg for treatment of minor injures.
The accident occurred just before 1 p.m. at a gas station, located at 22685 Highway MM near Sedalia.
