Two Brookfield residents are facing drug-related felony charges after authorities served a search warrant and allegedly found numerous drug-related items at a residence in the 400 block of McGowan Street on May 15.
According to a probable-cause statement, authorities found plastic bags, glass pipes and digital scales containing methamphetamine residue; controlled pills; and several other drug-related items.
According to online court documents, warrants have been issued for 29-year-old Thomas R. and 28-year-old Brooke Woody. Thomas R. Woody has been charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid; and each subject has been charged with three counts of a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid; and two drug-related misdemeanors. His bond has been set at $50,000 cash only. Her bond has been set at $20,000 cash, surety or 10-percent cash.
An initial hearing for each subject at Linn County Circuit Court is pending.
