The Marshall Police Department has identified and arrested a suspect in the case regarding the fire which occurred at the Lighthouse Shelter Thrift Store on Wednesday, May 23.
According to a release from the department, officers have arrested 53-year-old Marshall woman in connection to the alleged arson which occurred at the store. Authorities are seeking Class D Felonies for Second-Degree Arson and Burglary, and a cash-only bond has been set at $7,500. The suspect is current incarcerated at the Saline County Jail.
Formal charges have not been filed yet and at this time, the name of the suspect will not be released per KMMO policy.
