On the fourth Wednesday of each month, area residents can schedule an appointment to drop off their household hazardous waste items in Marshall.
Saline County Presiding Commissioner Kile Guthrey Jr. reminded residents about the opportunity during the meeting of the commission on Tuesday, June 12. He said the event now will be handled by the city of Marshall, and the phone number to make your appointment has changed.

Guthrey said the drop-off used to be coordinated with the Pioneer Trails Regional Planning Commission. He said several items will be accepted, but some will not.

After setting up your appointment, you will drop off your items at 26523 245th Road in Marshall.
