Saline County Clerk Debbie Russell said events that have taken place in Jefferson City in the past week could have an impact on ballots for the Primary Election.
So, during the meeting of the county commission on Tuesday, June 12, she said she is waiting longer than usual to have the ballots printed.

Russell said it costs the county about $30,000 to have the ballots printed, so she wants to make sure everything is right.
The Primary Election is set for Tuesday, August 7.
