A Mayview resident was killed in a rollover traffic crash in Lafayette County on Sunday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 44-year-old Kristina Stalcup, reportedly lost control of her northbound vehicle, which skidded off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.
Stalcup, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected out of the vehicle, was transported to Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington but was pronounced deceased.
The crash happened at about 2:40 p.m. on Missouri Highway 131, south of Texas Prairie Road.
