A Sedalia man sustained injuries in a traffic crash involving wildlife in Pettis County on Sunday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a southbound vehicle, driven by 30-year-old Leandrea Chandler, of Sedalia, reportedly struck a deer in the roadway.
While Chandler reportedly was not injured, a passenger in the vehicle, 34-year-old Charles Wright, reportedly was transported to Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia for treatment of moderate injuries.
The crash happened just before 10:15 p.m. on U.S. Highway 65, south of Smelser Road.
