An area state park will host a team scavenger hunt in Saline County on Saturday, July 21.
According to a news release, from 2 to 3 p.m., Van Meter State Park will host the park-wide scavenger hunt competition where participants assemble a team, grab a cellphone or camera and search the park for all kinds of natural items. The first team to find and take a photo with each item will win a prize. This event is free and open to the public.
Van Meter State Park is located 12 miles north of Marshall on Missouri Highway 122.
