A Marshall man was injured in a traffic accident in Pettis County on Sunday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as the driver of a westbound vehicle, 36-year-old Mathew Yokeley, of Marshall, reportedly failed to negotiate a curve, and the vehicle traveled off the roadway.
A passenger in the vehicle, 30-year-old James Jones, reportedly was transported by ambulance to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall for treatment of minor injures. Yokeley reportedly was not injured.
The accident happened at 1 a.m. on Route HH at School House Road.
