The Miami River Bridge will remain closed for up to twelve months while a partial replacement takes place. The overhead truss will be removed, as well as the decking and the girders. The new bridge will be 26' wide and will have a life expectancy of 50 years. To aid with traffic flow during the bridge closure, commuters are urged to use the three commuter lots.
