The New Franklin School Board discussed the district’s APR and MAP scores and approved a bid for a project during it meeting on Wednesday, February 20.
Superintendent Brian Cordel said he along with members of the board were very pleased with this year’s APR and MAP scores.

In other business, Cordel said the board approved a bid to fix a leak.

Cordel also said the board discussed the School Zone Flashing Lights project, but tabled a decision to see if there is more funding available for project.
In other business, Cordel said the board began discussing future upgrades needed on the district’s facilities, as well as set the graduation date and time for this year’s seniors for 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 12.
