Tony Nierman, 55, of Concordia, MO, died Tuesday, November 8, 2016 in Lafayette County.

Born September 15, 1961 in Sweet Springs, MO, he was the son of Kenneth Nierman, who survives of Concordia, and Suzanne Klingenberg Schaumburg who survives of Lake Ozark.  Tony had lived in the Concordia area his entire life and was a 1979 graduate of Concordia High School.  On May 4, 1991 he married Gail Schnakenberg who survives of the home. Tony worked as a branch manager for B&L Bank in Odessa for the last 10 years.  He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, and its Joyful Sounds Choir, and was a board member of Tri-City Country Club in Emma.

In addition to his wife, Gail; his father, Kenneth Nierman and wife Mary; and his mother, Suzanne Schaumburg and husband Jack; he is survived by one son, Bryan Nierman of Olathe, KS; one daughter, Sara Nierman of Concordia; two sisters, Karen Bauer and Kelly Virus, both of Concordia; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lew and Virginia Schnakenberg of Concordia; as well as several nieces and nephews.
