A private family service for 88-year-old, Maurice Calvin “Cal” Rodgers, Jr., of Sedalia, who, passed away Saturday, July 8 will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery in Sedalia, at a later date.

In addition to his wife, Lela, he is survived by his daughter: Connie Jo Rodgers of Liberty, MO; one grandson, Matthew Harding, two great grandsons, Cody Harding and Tahlon Harding, Kearney, MO; his sister: Frankie Roberts, Victoria, TX; four nephews: Thomas Roberts, Roger Roberts (Linda), Joseph Roberts, and Virgil Rodgers II; two nieces: Keli Rodgers and Kami (Rodgers) Brendel (Glen); five great nieces, four great nephews; one cousin: Thelma Somers, Packwood, WA; two step-sons: Jim Norton and Kenneth Norton (Debbie); four step-grandchildren: Zoe Norton, Drew Norton, Angie (Norton) Richardson (Daniel), Wade Norton (Jennifer); and nine step-great grandchildren: Matthew, Maisie, Jozy, Adam, Wayne, Brett, Aric, Gage and Elliot.

In addition to his parents, Maurice Calvin Rodgers Sr. and Stella Beatrice (Ramsey) Rodgers, Cal was preceded in death by his brother: Virgil D. Rodgers I, his sister-in-law Ellen Rodgers, and his brother-in-law Bill Roberts.
