A Boonville man faces one felony charge after he allegedly was found to be in possession of an illegal drug at a detention center last month in Cooper County.
A probable-cause statement says on 32-year-old Robert Ridgeway was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant and was transported to the Cooper County Detention Center on February 27. A search of Ridgeway reportedly discovered him to be in possession of a glass pipe and a wrapper containing methamphetamine.
Online court documents say Ridgeway has been charged with a Class D Felony for Delivery or Possession of a Controlled Substance at a Correctional Center, as well as a misdemeanor drug charge. Bond has not yet been set.
Ridgeway’s arraignment hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, at the Cooper County Circuit Court.
