A Kansas City woman is charged with a felony for an alleged incident of forgery last month in Cooper County.
A probable-cause statement says 30-year-old Athena Green reportedly was seen on video surveillance cashing a check from a victim at a bank in Boonville on February 16. Green successfully cashed the $300 check, but reportedly did so without the consent of the victim.
Online court documents say Green has been charged with a Class D Felony for Forgery and a misdemeanor for stealing. Bond has not yet been set.
Green’s initial hearing is pending at the Cooper County Circuit Court.
