Marshall Ward 3 Councilman Dan Brandt asked the council to approve several bids for Municipal Services during the council meeting on Monday, May 7.
Brandt said the city accepts bids every six months for lumber the city will need.

Brandt’s motion was approved.
Brandt said the Municipal Services Department also has requested a non-budgeted item to be bought. He said it is a pull-behind bucket. He said the department received two bids through the NJPA program.

Brandt explained the money has been raised for the purchase from recycled metal reclaiming. The council approved the low bid of $3,688.75.
Brandt also had his motion to accept a bid from Cox Farms for harvesting hay at the old landfill for $4,300, the high bid of the three received.
The council also approved a bid from Fisher’s Concrete.
