The Concordia Recreation Committee discussed improvement projects needed at the ball field complex during its meeting on Monday, May 14.
City Administrator Dale Klussman said the metal needed for two more foul ball protection fences have been received for the complex.

Klussman said the committee discussed several other improvements needed at the complex.

Klussman added a couple of scoreboards were having electronic malfunctions, but replacement parts just received need to be installed to fix the problems.
In other business, Klussman said the city pool is scheduled to be open on Saturday, May 26. Klussman added the city is working out details to possibly have the pool open for an Independence Day celebration due to the holiday occurring on a Wednesday.
