A roadwork project is scheduled to close down a railroad crossing for several hours each day in Cooper County beginning on Sunday, August 12.
According to MoDOT, from 4 a.m. to 12 p.m., Union-Pacific is scheduled to conduct the work on Missouri Highway 41, north of I-70, which will close the railroad crossing during that time. The project is scheduled to continue through Tuesday, August 14.
Traffic will be detoured around the area.
All work is weather permitting.
