A Marshall man charged with sex-related felonies involving a juvenile is scheduled to be in court this week.
According to a probable-cause statement, 43-year-old Monoleto Ontario Morand is alleged to have solicited and attempted to engage in inappropriate sexual acts with a juvenile male on more than one occasion.
According to online court documents, Morand has been charged with an Unclassified Felony for Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy in the First Degree with a Victim Less Than 12 Years Old and an Unclassified Felony for Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy in the First Degree.
Morand, who pleaded not guilty during a hearing in June, is scheduled to appear for a plea/trial-setting hearing at 9 a.m. on Monday, August 13, at Saline County Circuit Court.
