A Criminal summons has been issued, and a Boonville woman, who allegedly took a wedding ring that was accidentally left on a counter by another customer on August 10 at Walmart Supercenter in Boonville, has been charged with a felony.
According to a probable-cause statement, the woman who accidentally left the ring at the store values it at $1,000.
Viewing surveillance video, authorities identified the suspect as Theresa Marie Grubbs, who was arrested and has been charged with a Class D Felony for Stealing of $750 or More.
Grubbs is scheduled to appear for her arraignment hearing at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, at Cooper County Circuit Court.
