The Marshall Police Department is warning residents of an e-mail scam which was recently reported.
According to the department, residents have reported about receiving an e-mail from an unknown person who is raising funds for a sick niece. They ask for the person to obtain an ITunes card in the amount of $200 and send a picture of the card to them via e-mail.
The Marshall Police Department says this is a scam, and not to respond to the e-mail.
