The Marshall Tourism Commission has launched its new website design at www.VisitMarshallMo.com.
A news release says the goal is to efficiently bring potential tourist traffic to the city and immediate areas surrounding Marshall. It includes an updated mobile-friendly website, optimization techniques to reach target audiences and enhanced social communications.
In addition, the website will feature enhanced data tracking to support the commission’s efforts to better understand from what geographical areas tourists are coming and which attractions they’re interested in visiting. By utilizing built-in data tracking, the commission will be able to make informed decisions about where to focus advertising and marketing efforts.
The site promises to bring Marshall Tourism into the forefront of travel sites and travel searches online. The updated site will provide information about local tourism affiliates and area businesses and attractions, with the goal being to attract visitors to our area.
The site is connected to social media @VisitMarshallMo on Facebook.
The duty of the Mayoral-appointed, five-member commission is to oversee the funds collected by the city of Marshall through its lodging tax, which was established to enhance the economic impact of tourism in the community.
