A Warsaw motorcycle driver suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Benton County on Monday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a northbound GMC, driven by 46-year-old Bradley Harris, of Parkville, reportedly swerved to avoid a southbound Kawasaki, driven by 46-year-old Todd Gemes, as it entered the intersection at U.S. Highway 65 and Route MM. The GMC reportedly entered the southbound lane and was struck by the bike. Gemes, who reportedly fled the scene and was located later, was treated by E.M.S. and refused further treatment. Harris reportedly was not injured.
The crash happened at about 5:30 p.m.
