A 24-year-old Blackburn resident who has been charged with multiple sex-related felonies involving a juvenile is due in court this week.
According to a probable-cause statement, on July 28, 2018, a woman alleged that Christopher Michael Moore II sexually assaulted her daughter on more than one occasion between June 30 and July 1 and July 20-22 at Moore’s residence in rural Saline County. Authorities reportedly have reviewed explicit Facebook messages between the juvenile and Moore.
According to online court documents, Moore has been charged with two counts of a Class D Felony for Statutory Sodomy in the Second Degree; a Class D Felony for Statutory Rape in the Second Degree; and an Unclassified Felony for Enticement of a Child (Actor 21 Years of Age or Older and Child Less Than 15 Years of Age). Bond has been set at $100,000 cash only.
Moore appeared in custody via video and was arraigned on Monday, August 27. He is due for a counsel-status hearing at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, September 19, at Saline County Circuit Court.
