At the September 4 meeting of the Marshall City Council, the council approved the first reading for the proposed operating budget for the Marshall Municipal Utilities’ Board of Public Works for the next fiscal year, which begins on October 1.
During its meeting on Monday, September 17, the council was asked to approve the second reading of the ordinance.
MMU General Manager Kyle Gibbs explained some of the particulars of the proposed budget.
