A Higginsville resident suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Lafayette County on Thursday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a 82-year-old Irvin Kelso reportedly failed to keep proper look out and his westbound vehicle entered an intersection and struck the side of a northbound vehicle, driven by 26-year-old Christopher Lisska, of Kansas City.
While Lisska reportedly was not injured, Kelso was transported by Wellington E.M.S. to Centerpoint Hospital in Independence for treatment.
The crash happened just after 10:30 a.m. on northbound Highway 131 at Route FF.
