The Western Section of the Katy Trail State Park, including the Rock Island Spur, will host an informational meeting 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, at Sedalia’s Katy Trail Depot.
The public is invited to share comments about the park and its operations. Park staff will be on hand to provide information and to answer questions.
According to a news release, these informational meetings– being held at all state parks– help create two-way communication with the public. The meetings give staff the opportunity to let people know the current status and future plans for the park or historic site, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.
