During the meeting of the Marshall Park Board on Wednesday, October 3, the board talked about the financial situation of the department.
City Administrator David Haugland, who was at the meeting, pointed out the department seems to be in pretty good shape. He said whatever money wasn’t spent will stay in the park fund.

In other news, board member Scott Fann pointed out some work is going to be done on a drain in the Lyons Bowl.

Haugland also said there will be an annual disc golf tournament- with morning and afternoon sessions- on Saturday, October 20, at Indian Foothills Park. He said he thinks there are 60 to 70 persons registered to compete.
