A Malta Bend resident suffered serious injuries in a rollover traffic crash in Saline County on Thursday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 37-year-old Tashia Wake reportedly overcorrected her northbound vehicle, which had ran off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle returned to and ran off the right side of the roadway, struck the ground, overturned and came to rest on its side.
Wake, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt, was transported by Saline County E.M.S. to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The crash happened just before 11 p.m. on Missouri Highway 41, seven-tenths of a mile north of Route E.
