Saline County Clerk Debbie Russell reported there was a recent influx of persons registering to be eligible to vote in the November election during the meeting of the county commission on Thursday, October 11.

The deadline to register to be eligible to vote in the upcoming election was at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10.
Absentee voting will be accepted during regular business hours at your county clerk’s office through 5 p.m. on Monday, November 5. Voters go to the polls to cast their ballots on Tuesday, November 6.
Russell also noted her office will be open for additional hours from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, to accommodate absentee voters.
