An ongoing roadwork project is scheduled to continue this week in Cooper County.
According to MoDOT, bridge replacement is underway on Highway 87 over I-70, where the bridge is still closed. Lane closures in the eastbound and westbound lanes of I-70 are possible this week.
The project scheduled for completion by sometime in November.
A roadwork project is scheduled to close a bridge for several hours each day beginning on Monday, October 15. From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., bridge maintenance is scheduled on Route DD over Flat Creek, west of Route K, with the work scheduled to last through Thursday, October 18.
Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route during the maintenance time each day.
All work is weather permitting.
