An Alma teen suffered minor injuries in a traffic crash in Lafayette County on Monday, October 15.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as 17-year-old Kaylee Hostetter reportedly overcorrected her southbound vehicle, which had traveled off the right side of the roadway to avoid an animal. The vehicle returned to the roadway, traveled off the right side again and impacted a ditch.
Hostetter reportedly told first responders she would seek her own treatment.
The crash happened at 3:45 p.m. on Missouri Highway 23, one-quarter of a mile south of Goodwin Road.
