A 31-year-old Arvada, Colorado, resident has been charged with a felony after authorities allegedly found a rather large cache of a controlled substance and lots of money in his vehicle following a traffic stop on I-70 on October 16 in Cooper County.
According to authorities, a probable-cause search of the vehicle revealed approximately 30 pounds of marijuana and nearly $3,400 in cash. The driver reportedly admitted to possessing the marijuana, but would not provide additional details as to where it was being delivered. Authorities arrested Eddie D. Sigmon Jr.
According to online court documents, a warrant has been issued and Sigmon has been charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana. Bond has been set at $25,000 cash or surety.
Sigmon’s initial hearing at Cooper County Circuit Court is pending.
