An ongoing roadwork project during daylight and overnight hours is scheduled to resume in Howard County this week.
According to MoDOT, resurfacing and shoulder improvements are scheduled to continue on Highway 40, between Route UU Highway 5. Also during this week, excavation, base work and asphalt overlay will take place with the overall project scheduled to be completed sometime this winter.
During the project, one lane will be open, and crews will guide traffic through the work area.
Bridge-replacement work is continuing this week which has closed the Doxies Creek Bridge on Route V, west of County Road 265.
The project is nearing completion, but motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area this week.
Two roadwork projects are scheduled to begin on Monday, November 19, in Howard County.
Tree trimming is scheduled Highway 124, between Highway 240 and County Road 410, with the work scheduled to last through Wednesday, November 21.
Tree trimming also is scheduled on Route Y, between Highway 124 and County Road 135, with the work scheduled to last through Friday, November 30.
Each project will have one lane open, and crews will flag traffic through the work areas.
