An Otterville resident suffered moderate injuries in a motorcycle crash in Cooper County on Saturday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as an eastbound Harley Davidson, driven by 47-year-old Lee Davis, reportedly struck a deer that was in the roadway. Davis was ejected off the bike before the motorcycle came to rest in a ditch.
Davis reportedly was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The crash happened just after 5 p.m. on Route J, one mile east of Missouri Highway 5.
