After winning its second straight Model of Excellence Award at the National FFA Convention in October at Indianapolis, the
Marshall FFA Chapter received recognition by the city of Marshall prior to its city council meeting on Monday, November 19.
Marshall Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Carol Maher said she is very proud of the students who put together a program that claimed the top prize in the nation for the third time in four years. And she thanked the city and chamber of commerce, as well.
FFA Advisor Tyler Bergin said he is just one many who helps with the program.
All of the chapter’s students who were in attendance introduced themselves, and Mayor Mark Gooden read a proclamation congratulating the chapter on its achievement.
