A Sedalia resident suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Benton County on Sunday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 37-year-old Jesse Morris reportedly lost control of his southbound vehicle due to a vehicle defect, and it was struck by a northbound vehicle, driven by 68-year-old Shirley Story, of Warsaw.
While Story reportedly was not injured, Morris was transported by Warsaw-Lincoln E.M.S. to an area hospital for treatment.
The crash happened just after 8 a.m. on Route BB at Feaster Branch Road.
