A Slater teen who pleaded guilty last month to a sex-related felony for inappropriately touching a juvenile female is scheduled to be sentenced this week.
According to a probable-cause statement, 18-year-old Clint Shackles committed the inappropriate sex-related act sometime between 10 p.m. on July 20 and 5 a.m. on July 21, 2018, in the back yard of a residence in Slater.
Online court documents say Shackles withdrew his original plea of not guilty and pleaded guilty to a Class C Felony for Child Molestation in the Third Degree- Child Less Than 14 Years Old- on January 14.
The Missouri Board of Probation and Parole was ordered to conduct an investigation and file a written report prior to Shackles’ sentencing date.
Shackles is scheduled to be appear for a sentencing hearing at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, at Saline County Circuit Court.
