A pre-trial conference regarding a case of a Marshall man accused of murdering a Slater resident last year is set for 2 p.m. on Monday, February 25.
According to online court documents, Adam McAlister is facing a Class A Felony for Second-Degree Murder and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action for allegedly killing 31-year-old Lance Gibson on March 9, 2018.
Bond has been set at $500,000 cash only, with special conditions. Two motions made by McAlister’s attorney to have his bond reduced have been denied by the court.
McAlister, who is now 31 years old, entered a plea of not guilty in June.
McAlister’s jury trial is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 25, at Saline County Circuit Court.
