A body was recovered from the Missouri River on Sunday.
A news release from Saline County Sheriff Cindi Mullins says deputies were dispatched to the Missouri River near 310th Road- north of Malta Bend- at about 1:45 p.m. to the report of a body in the water.
The body of a male subject was recovered by the Missouri State Water Patrol. The Malta Bend Fire Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted at the scene.
Saline County Coroner Willie Harlow also responded to the incident and says an autopsy will be conducted.
