A Lexington resident suffered moderate injuries in a traffic crash in Lafayette County on Monday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a northbound vehicle, driven by 24-year-old Tylar Mattivi, reportedly traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a fence, continued traveling in an open field and struck a tree.
Mattivi reportedly was transported by Higginsville E.M.S. to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence for treatment.
The crash happened at 10:40 p.m. on Missouri Highway 13, north of Long Grove Road.
