A Kansas City resident has been charged with felonies after a traffic stop on I-70 in Saline County on July 11.
According to a probable-cause statement, during a probable-cause search of the vehicle, the Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper says he found approximately 30 pieces of parchment paper containing counterfeit $20 bills and two packs of parchment paper, a paper trimmer and an HP printer.
Online court documents say 19-year-old Rodney Allen Swift has been charged with Class E Felonies for Forgery and Possession of a Forging Instrument. Bond has been set at $10,000 cash or surety.
Swift was arraigned on Monday, July 15, and his counsel-status hearing has been set for 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17, at Saline County Circuit Court.
