Area residents are invited to join the Missouri Humanities Council and Annie at 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 2 at Missouri’s American Indian Cultural Center at Annie and Abel Van Meter State Park for a storytelling event hosted by Suzanne Michelle White.
According to a news release, this presentation will focus on traditional stories told primarily by Choctaw, Cherokee and Delaware Nations or Tribes. White is a member of or descended from each of the Nations or Tribes listed.
This event is free and open to the public, and all ages are welcome.
Annie and Abel Van Meter State Park is located 12 miles north of Marshall on Missouri Highway 122.
