Law-enforcement officers say they found multiple drug-related items inside a vehicle following a traffic stop on Tuesday, December 3.
According to a probable-cause statement, a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper says he found a sock wedged between the engine components; and inside that sock were two plastic baggies containing white pills. The trooper estimated there were 35 Tramadol and 130 Trazadone pills in the baggies. There also was another large baggie containing multiple individually-marked baggies containing some green marijuana and some marijuana-infused edible gummies.
Court documents say 21-year-old Cody William Nitcher, of Auxvasse, and 25-year-old Taija Nicole George, of Boonville, each has been charged with three counts of a Class of a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance and a drug-related misdemeanor. Bond for each has been set at $7,500 cash or surety.
