Friday 29th March 2024

As many communities do when we see weather like we have received overnight Thursday and Friday morning, the city of Marshall is implementing their Snow Emergency Ordinance for Friday, January 24, 2020.
When snow accumulation reaches 2 inches, EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES are activated to allow the designated roadways to be easily cleared for emergency and other vehicles. Parking is prohibited along these routes as Street Department plows need access to clear and open the roadways. The Street Department will work to keep these designated streets as clear as possible.
Director of Marshall Municipal Services, Bill Anderson says cars need to be moved off of streets deemed Emergency Snow Routes.

Anderson continued by saying the city will be plowing every street in town.

Be advised that many city’s have Snow Emergency Routes that will be in place Friday.
