A 57-year-old Concordia woman has been charged with domestic assault.
According to a probable-cause statement, another woman, who was holding a towel to her head, told authorities that Dana Martin hit her in the head with a golf club. After the victim was transported to the hospital, authorities found a broken golf club in a bedroom.
Martin was arrested and has been charged with a Class D Felony for Domestic Assault in the second degree. Martin posted surety bond on Tuesday, March 10.
Martin’s initial appearance is set for 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
