Decisions have been made to close several gathering places and several upcoming events in Cooper County.
According to officials, closed are:
· The Boonslick Heartland YMCA;
· The Boonville Area Chamber of Commerce;
· The Isle of Capri Casino Hotel Boonville; and
· The Tourism Center/River Rails and Trails Museum.
Cancellations, postponements and temporary suspensions include:
· Cork & More Wine Walk, scheduled for Saturday, March 21, in New Franklin;
· Pick Up Boonville, scheduled for Saturday, March 28, starting at the Tourism Center in Boonville; and
· Big Muddy Folk Festival, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, April 3 and 4, at Thespian Hall in Boonville.
All programs offered by Boonslick Regional Library listed are suspended until April 30:
· Library Yarns, First and Third Monday of each month, at the library;
· Kids’ Hope Rock Painting, Fourth Monday of each month, at the library;
· Boonville Brickmasters LEGO® League, Third Wednesday of each month, at the library;
· Student After School Screenings, Fourth Wednesday of each month, at the library;
· Belletristic Babies, Last Wednesday and last Saturday of each month, at the library;
· Family Matinée at the Library, First Saturday of each month, at the library;
· Saturday Story Time Celebrations, Second Saturday of each month, at the library; and
· Beyond Crayons Adult Coloring Group, Third Saturday of each month, at the library.
At present, the Boonslick Regional Library plans to remain open.
