During its meeting on Thursday, April 2, the Marshall Municipal Utilities’ Board of Public Works gave the thumbs up to several needed projects, including wells and a water main.
General Manager Jeff Bergstrom explains a water-treatment/well-maintenance project. Bergstrom said this is an ongoing maintenance program MMU has been doing for a long time.

Bergstrom said a water-main replacement project also is necessary on East Slater Street.

Bergstrom said that project will be done in-house. The budget is $100,000.
